Video: Group homes for adults with autism

AutismHangout

Independent living for our special needs sons and daughters can be a reality! It may be hard to imagine when they're small, but maturity brings changes... many of them good! And their desire to live an independent life can emerge. It has with our son, Nolan. And we've found a most rewarding opportunity for his dream.

Meet Chris. Chris is the owner/operator of the group home where Nolan now lives. There was a process to find this home, and there are hurdles to jump. But the best news is, our special kids have opportunities to live independent lives. There are good people out there who care... and make that compassion their livelihood.

I'm quite certain, after watching this interview, that you will understand why I am so optimistic in expecting positive group home experiences for many of our special kids.
